PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The first phase of the Randall McDaniel Sports Complex was an 83,000 square foot, $10Million multipurpose community center. It is a public/private partnership between the City of Avondale and the Mission Viejo California based American Sports Centers.

The facility features (6) volleyball courts, (4) basketball courts, (2) indoor soccer fields, and a 4000 Sq ft Multi-Purpose Room. The basketball/volleyball courts are state-of-the-art Haro, hardwood sports flooring and Schelde basketball standards and Schelde volleyball systems. The soccer fields have high quality infill turf along with state of the art dasher boards. The facility provides a wide variety of tournaments, leagues, classes, clinics and other programs for athletes of all ages. There is also Sidelines, a food counter with a grilling kitchen.

The Facility is named in honor of Randall McDaniel, retired offensive linebacker and Pro Football Hall of Famer from NFL teams the Minnesota Vikings and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The retail component will ultimately consist of 150,000 Square Feet Retail & 1,100 Urban Residences at Buildout. The first phase has 24,500 Square Feet Liner Retail on 4 Parcels with 2 Full Service Restaurant Endcaps.
